This Privacy Policy explains how Khera Radio USA (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application (the “App”).
If you do not agree with this policy, do not use the App.
0) Content we serve
The App may provide the following types of content and experiences:
- Live 24×7 radio streaming
- On-demand podcast catalog playback
- Live audio rooms / live podcasts (when available), which may use LiveKit/WebRTC
1) Information we collect
A) Information you provide
- Account information (Google Sign-In): when you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information such as name, email address, and profile picture (as provided by Google).
- Podcast/live session inputs (when applicable):
- Podcast details you create in-app (e.g., podcast name/description).
- Images you upload for podcast banners (selected from your device library).
B) Information collected automatically
When you use the App, we may collect:
- Device and app information: device type/model, OS version, app version/build number.
- Network information: IP address and general network diagnostics.
- Usage and diagnostic logs: crash logs, performance logs, and basic app usage events needed to operate and improve the service.
- Push notification identifiers: a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token used to deliver push notifications to your device.
C) Audio / microphone data (only when you choose to use it)
If you start or join a live/podcast session that requires it, the App may request microphone access and process live audio for the session. We do not record your microphone by default, and audio is used to deliver the live feature you requested.
2) How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide 24×7 radio streaming and core App functionality
- Authenticate you and manage your account/session
- Enable live podcast participation (including invites and joining rooms)
- Deliver push notifications (e.g., invites, “live now”). We do not use notifications for spam or unauthorized advertising.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues
- Improve performance, reliability, and user experience
3) How we share information
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share limited information:
- With service providers that help run the App (e.g., infrastructure, messaging, or authentication providers).
- With third-party platforms you use to sign in or receive notifications, such as Google services.
- For legal reasons if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect users and our rights.
4) Third-party services used by the App
The App integrates third-party services that may process information under their own privacy policies:
- Google Sign-In (authentication)
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) (push notifications delivery)
- Notifee (notification display/handling on-device)
- LiveKit / WebRTC (live audio rooms)
5) Permissions and why they are needed (Android)
The App may request the following Android permissions depending on features you use (names may appear exactly as below in Android):
- INTERNET: required for streaming, API requests, and authentication.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: to show notifications on Android 13+.
- RECORD_AUDIO: for live/podcast participation when you choose that feature.
- BLUETOOTH_CONNECT / BLUETOOTH_SCAN: for selecting/using Bluetooth audio devices during live audio (Android 12+).
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE (including mediaPlayback, microphone, dataSync): to support reliable playback, live audio, and related background tasks when running.
- WAKE_LOCK: to help keep playback/live sessions stable when needed.
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: to support restoring certain background behaviors (for example, notification-related behaviors) after device restart, where applicable.
- VIBRATE: to provide vibration for notifications where supported.
- MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS: to manage audio routing/controls during playback or live audio.
You can deny optional permissions, but some features may not work.
6.1) Live sessions, user behavior, and moderation
Live rooms may involve real-time audio. Hosts/admins may be able to manage sessions (for example, inviting participants, controlling participation, or removing participants) to keep sessions safe and functional. If you believe a live session is abusive or infringing, you can report it by contacting us at the email in the “Contact us” section.
6) Data retention
We retain information only as long as needed to:
- Provide the service,
- Comply with legal obligations,
- Resolve disputes, and
- Enforce our agreements.
FCM tokens may be updated/rotated and re-registered as needed for notification delivery.
7) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8) Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request:
- Access to your information,
- Correction of inaccurate information, or
- Deletion of your account/data.
Account deletion
- In-app: If available for your account type, you can delete your account from Settings → Delete account.
- By email: You can also request deletion or support by contacting us using the email below.
9) Children’s privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date.

If you believe any content in the App infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, contact us with details (including a description of the work, the allegedly infringing content, and how to locate it in the App):
